Today we had a special visitor in First Grade. Mr. Miller came in with a special machine that makes static electricity. We were very brave and saw how we can conduct electricity in a safe way through our own bodies. We made a long bulb light with our noses and watched how people's hair stood up on end. We even made a long chain of children and passed the static electricity along the chain. Mr. Miller was really impressed with all the facts we have learnt about electricity and can't wait to see our budding scientists grow.

Shocking Science
